Record audio from any browser tab
FreeCapture what's playing, not what's near your microphone.
Most "audio recorder" extensions ask for microphone access and capture whatever your mic happens to pick up, room noise and all. Samplr works differently: it taps the tab's actual audio output using Chrome's tab-capture API, so what you record is exactly what's playing — clean, with no mic, no echo, and no background noise.
Click the toolbar icon, hit record, and Samplr starts capturing the active tab immediately. Recording keeps running even if you close the popup, so you can keep browsing while it records in the background — stop it whenever you're ready from the same toolbar icon.
Because there's no virtual audio cable or OS-level routing involved, there's nothing else to install and nothing else that can go out of sync. It just works on the tab you're already looking at.
This feature is available on Samplr's free plan.
